Serves 6:
300 gr. flour; 50 gr. butter; 1 glass of water with a pinch of salt; ½ l. custard
filling; 4 egg whites beaten to meringue consistency; 40 gr. icing sugar; 150 gr. normal
sugar.
Place the flour on the table with the butter and water in the middle
and knead into a dough. Work thoroughly and divide into three equal parts. Roll out into
rounds and fry in hot oil moving the frying pan to prevent sticking. Place a slice on a
serving plate, sprinkle with icing sugar and cover with the filling followed by another
slice and so on.
Cover the cake with the meringue and then sprinkle with normal sugar
and place in a hot oven just enough time to brown the sugar. Remove and serve.
