The Incas & Machu Picchu

They ruled an area of land that ran 3,400 miles from what is today Ecuador almost half-way down through modern day Chile.

Although the Incas only number about 100,000 people they ruled over 10 million people.

They built great cities and palaces and temples that were decorated with gold, silver and precious jewels.

And the Incas did all this without, the horse, a written language, money or even the wheel.
