Hands

In one section of the desert is the drawing of figure. It is referred to by locals and guides as "Hands". It could be a man or it could be some type of animal.  You can see drawing in the upper left hand of the above picture.  It would make sense that the Nazca Indians might draw a picture of a figure with hands, but what is puzzling scientists and archeologists can be seen more clearly in the close-up below.

 

Have you discovered what is different about this figure?  If you count the number of fingers on the hand that is on the right in the picture there are four fingers and one thumb, which is the same that might be found for example on a normal human hand.  However, the hand that it on the left  in the picture contains only three figures and one thumb.  Why the difference?

And then of course there is the astronaut...
