PLURALS
In Spanish there are usually two ways to make a noun plural.
If a noun ends in a vowel you add "s" to the word to make it plural.
| libro | book | libros | books |
| mesa | table | mesas | tables |
If a noun ends in a consonant you add "es" to the word to make it plural.
| papel | paper | papeles | papers |
| ciudad | city | ciudades | cities |
The days of the week do not change when made plural if the singular ends in "s". If it does not end in "s" you must add an "s" to make it plural. In either case the article always changes.
| el lunes | Monday | los lunes | Mondays |
| el domingo | Sunday | los domingos | Sundays |
Remember you must change the article "el" or "la" when you make a word plural.
| el libro | the book | los libros | the books |
| la mesa | the table | las mesas | the tables |
